- The Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management office will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.
- The Recycling and Solid Waste Center will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday.
- The Brooktondale Food Scraps Drop Spot will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th.
- The Hancock Food Scraps Drop Spot will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th.
- Curbside Recycling Collection:
- Holiday schedules may impact recycling collection routes on Tuesday, December 24th. Residents are reminded to place their recycling at the curb by 6AM (or 4:00 AM in the City of Ithaca), or on the night of the 23rd, as collection trucks may arrive earlier than normal on this day.
- There will be no curbside recycling collection on Wednesday, December 25th. Curbside recycling collection will take place a day late for the remainder of the holiday week. That means if your regularly scheduled collection day is Wednesday, recycling will be picked up on Thursday, and so on.
