Holiday Closings and Curbside Recycling Pick-up Schedule
Both the Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management office and the Recycling and Solid Waste Center will be closed on Friday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day, and on Friday, January 1st, 2021 for New Year’s Day. The Newfield Food Scraps Recycling Drop Spot will be closed on Thursday, December 24th.
There will be no curbside recycling collection on either Friday, December 25th or Friday, January 1st.
Recycling collection will take place one day late for the remainder of each holiday week. That means if your regularly scheduled collection day is Friday, recycling will instead be picked up on Saturday. Sign up for automatic recycling reminders at recycletompkins.org.
