Holiday closings: Hancock St Food Scraps Drop Spots
The Food Scraps Recycling Drop Spot on Hancock Street in Ithaca will be closing for the holidays at the end of December.
The Hancock Street Drop Spot in Ithaca, which is normally open every Wednesday night from 4:00-6:00pm, will be closed December 25th for Christmas Day and January 1st for New Year’s Day. It will reopen on January 8th.
A previous version of this post stated that the drop spot in Brooktondale would also close. It will in fact be open on 12/24 and 12/31.
Participants are encouraged to bring their food scraps to other Drop Spot locations. A full list of Drop Spots is available at recycletompkins.org/dropspots
