The mission of the Department of Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) is to develop and implement a sustainable materials management strategy for Tompkins County. TCRMM is currently seeking applicants for an Assistant Recycling Specialist to support 4R initiatives that help the community reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink waste. The incumbent will assist residents, businesses, schools, and local stakeholders as the department implements its local solid waste management plan and expands waste reduction and reuse programming. Activities include conducting research, providing education, and supporting resource development and distribution.
