TCRMM Announces Indigenous Peoples’ Day Holiday Closure

The Tompkins County Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) office will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, in observance of the Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday.

The Recycling & Solid Waste Center (RSWC) will be open regular hours on Monday, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., for your recycling and waste disposal needs.

There will be no change in curbside recycling collection. Recycling pick-ups will follow a normal Monday schedule.

The “Find My Recycling Day” tool at www.recycletompkins.org allows residents to receive curbside recycling pickup reminders via phone call, text, or email. The curbside recycling reminders automatically adjust for holidays when there is no recycling collection. Enter the address and click “Get a Reminder.”
