(Tompkins County, Nov. 21, 2023) – The Tompkins County Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) Office and the Recycling & Solid Waste Center (RSWC) will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, in observance of Thanksgiving. There will be no Curbside Recycling Pickup on Thursday, Nov. 23.
The TCCRMM Office will also be closed on Friday, Nov. 24.
The RSWC will be open regular hours on Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., for your recycling and waste disposal needs.
Curbside Recycling Pickup will resume on Friday and will operate on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.
The “Find My Recycling Day” tool at www.recycletompkins.org allows residents to receive curbside recycling pickup reminders via phone call, text, or email. The curbside recycling reminders automatically adjust for holidays when there is no recycling collection. Enter the address and click “Get a Reminder.”
