Tompkins County Committed to Keeping Curbside Recycling Contamination Rate Low
November 22. 2022
In recognition of America Recycles Day, held on and around November 15 annually since 1997, Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management wants to thank our community for keeping contaminates out of curbside recycling and keeping Tompkins County’s curbside recycling contamination rate low. Disciplined adherence to the Curbside Recycling Guidelines by county residents continues to keep the county’s curbside recycling contamination rate under 5%. Our community cares about our effect on the environment and each other. We are a community focused on doing good, and it shows in our ability to recycle right. Keep up the good work!
