TCRMM issues statement on corrected Curbside Recycling Guidelines Calendar

Due to a misprint error, a small number of July 2023-June 2024 Curbside Recycling Guidelines contain incorrect curbside recycling calendar schedules for the months of October 2023 and April 2024.

The Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) immediately acknowledged the error and pulled the majority of misprinted copies from community circulation. Corrected guidelines with accurate curbside recycling schedule information were then released to the public.

However, it has recently come to TCRMM’s attention that a limited number of residents have the incorrect schedules. We apologize for this inconvenience.

TCRMM urges residents to refer to the Curbside Recycling page of our website, which includes downloadable pdfs of the corrected curbside recycling schedules. The pdfs include both print and screen versions.

Residents can also find their curbside recycling schedule and sign up for alerts using the online Find My Recycling Day tool.
